Unfortunately I dont have any experience with the meds you mentioned (Aricept (donepezil). ) to offer any advice I could search it online,..... but that still wouldnt give you any actual first hand knowledge or advice. Sorry. Hopefully someone else can help. And if you do find out some info Please come back and share for others here. I took Josh to the neurologist today and he was dx w/ autism. He scheduled me to get a MRI, EEG and some blood work done next week. But he prescribed him 2 med. one was Risperdal (I've seen some post on that subject) but what I was really wondering about was Aricept (donepezil). It's for Alzheimer's but they found it helps w/ the speech of autistic children. I read nothing but good things about it but ya know how that goes~ I was just wanting some parents input on it before I start him on it tomorrow. ~Thanks~
