The Meredith Autism
Program (MAP) is a behaviorally based, early intervention program for preschool
children with autism. MAP is designed to:
Serve
children with autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD); and
Provide
students with experience in working with children with autism and
PDD.
The behavior modification principles
and discrete trial teaching are used to help children reach their potential
through the development of language skills, social skills, self-help skills,
pre-academic skills, motor skills and play skills.
Research Model Fees: Depending on the age of the child at the
start of services, fees for the Research Model range from
,000-,000 per year. Children must be receiving an average of 35
hours per week by age 32 months.
Workshop Model Fees:
The initial training is scheduled for 2 to 3 full days and follow up consultations
are 2-4 hours every 4 to 6 weeks.
