That's wonderful!
Good for your DD and you!
It all started with some cuts she got on her toes over a month ago, that she didn't like looking at, but quickly generalized into this "thing" about wearing socks at all times and never looking at her toes. Oh, we've been talking and talking about how cuts heal, get better, etc. etc. and I've been telling her for WEEKS that the cuts are healed, gone, all better, etc. etc. No go. Until something, out of nowhere, clicked tonight - and she is sockless once again!!!!!!!
The really weird thing is she was having an "off" afternoon and having meltdowns and using more jibberish/language stuggles than she has been lately, etc. I was really in "worry mode" with her this afternoon. So, it wasn't a particularly "good" day but she still managed to do this amazingly brave (for her!) thing. She never stops amazing me and she never lets me forget to enjoy, celebrate and be grateful for the littlest things! One more fear bites the dust!I haven' t been here in a while but I do
remember you talking about this. How cute! So
the day was a success afterall the "off " parts!
They are surprising kids! Glad to hear your news!!
