I have been quite busy the past few weeks and have not been on line.    I've been thinking of you all and wandering how things are going! My kids are all out of school for the summer....we are making the transition to summer.    Bryce (my aspie) and Alyssa have been rehearsing for a summer musical production of "Children of Eden"    I have been sucked into costuming the cast of about 65........,making animal and people costumes and working with 2 impossible but very talented directors! It has been a very stressful experience!    Last week I completed lifeguard training for my summer job at the local public pool (I learned how old I am swimming with teenagers!) I've been frantically running between my kids and the theatre and trying to hold it all together and then my DH got called out of state for work for 9 days(just to top off my stress!) I decided to stop in here for a bit of "NORMALCY"

We made a quick weekend trip to my home town for my neice's graduation.    While in church I let Jacob sit in the back with his grandparents and cousins while I sat near the front to video tape my neice singing a solo   (I knew this could be trouble)    Well the preacher was giving his sermon and at one point asked a hypothetical question like " Do the flood waters of life lap up against your house?"

From the back row I hear my son yell out, "NOPE!"   Everyone got a good laugh out of it ....me included.    The minister just chuckled and said "Well considering it is ND maybe I should have said snow drifts!"    (at least I knew my kid was paying attention!)

I just never know what to expect next!
Oh, my   it is 2 am!!    Just wanted you all to know I've been thinking of you and will be back now and then when it isn't so crazy around here!    Just 2 weeks till this musical starts.....then things should settle down a bit!    Hope you all are well!    Enjoy the fun things your kids do!   it will help you get through the ugly times!! I'd noticed you were gone and wondered what happened! Glad to hear you're keeping busy (and out of trouble! ). Good luck with all those costumes (you must be quite a seamstress!) and congrats on being able to keep up with those teenage "whipper-snappers" in your lifeguard class!
