Both of my kids have been on it for sometime. That have made improvements on the diet.
I have heard there is tests that can be done to determine if a child needs the GFCF diet. What are these called so I can ask my pedi about it? IT'S FOR CELIAC DISEASE. O POSITIVE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ON THIS DIET.

Just for clarification - it is not just for celiac disease. Many people with celiac disease can not consume wheat products, but can consume dairy,
Gluten-free/ Casien-free diet is used to treat people, specifically with ASD, for leaky gut. In many of the people with leaky gut, their body does not digest the wheat and dairy protiens completely. As a result, both protiens which are virtually identical are transformed into a natural morphine. In a person with leaky gut, this is a problem because it can pass from the gut into the blood stream, tissues and other parts of the body to cause problems. It can cause the person to be in a natural 'high'. Some of the symptoms to this (although it is not the same in everyone) is high tolerance to pain, loose stools or severe constipation, etc.
Here is a very informative link that provides more info:
