Well I am going to try to make long story short...I have 4 of my own children and live in military quarters since we are in the military. In August of 2006 my mother passed away, and I took on my 14 year old brother who also has ADHD. The government then approved for us to move to 5 bedroom quarters. Which was a good thing. We had to apply for an exception to policy for a government funded move because of Randy's autism. He cannot tolerate watching things be moved out of place. This CLEARLY documented in his case file. We also had the numbers of our doctors and therapist for the post commander to call. Well our request was denied even with all of the proof he could have possibly needed in front of him in BLACK AND WHITE!!!!!!! Not once did he call any of the doctors or therapist about this problem. A family with an Autistic 2 year old, a 14 year old with ADHD and an 8 year old with a seizure disorder cannot get help!!!!! Let me reassure you the a FAT LAZY family that lives in the same building got a government move becuase they have a 8 year old that constantly pees her pants. I am really serious about this!!!!!!! I intend on letting the whole world know about how my family was denied help from the government. Hey my husband did his time in Iraq, don't you think that they could give us a little, since our family has given so much for my husbands career and the "Family Friendly" Army.......I'm sorry to hear all the trouble you've been going thru. Have you checked if they'll transfer you to any other military base for your family? Do you have any family helping you? I hope everything turns out well for you. Good Luck.I don't have any advice for you, but I wanted to tell you that I'm sorry things have been so hard for you. (((((hugs))))) I grew up in a military family and being overseas is especially hard when you have needs. I hope things get better for you and your family.
