Announcing the Sertoma International Conference on
Autism Spectrum Disorders: Solving the Autism Puzzle, April 12-14, 2007
to be held in Lafayette, Louisiana at the Cajundome Convention Center.
The conference is co-sponsored by Sertoma (a civic organization), the
University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and the Acadian Society of
Autistic Citizens. Poster sessions are invited and will be welcomed on
all aspects of autism spectrum disorders and/or related issues
including, etiology/prevention (what is causing autism?),
diagnosis/assessment (how can we identify and gauge the severity of
autism?), treatment/intervention (what can be done to help affected
individuals and/or stop the increase?) Submit an abstract in a standard
word processing
format (MS Word or WordPerfect) as an email attachment to the
Sertoma/ASAC Screening Committee for Autism07 at autism07@bellsouth.net.
The abstract should discuss content of the proposed presentation, its
purpose(s), methods, and results conforming to the American
Psychological Association Publication Manual
5th edition. References (if used) should conform to APA standards and
the whole abstract (references included) must not exceed 200 words.
