Perhaps you'll get better advice if you post a thread saying something like HELP from the UK -- school ?'shi i have my son who is 4 nearly 5.and currently not in school due to the fact we have just moved.and 3 playschools have refused him cause of his age.and 7 mainstreem schools have refused him cause of funding and because he has special needs and autism he hasnt been diagnosed with it but i live in the south and my son is being assesed at a charity place who say he has it.but trying to get a docter to listen is like talking to a brick wall.education are useless my i cannot get my son into any school round here at the moment and its a constant battle with education i scream at them and it dont make no difference.its a nightmare.ive just sent the forms of for him to be statemented cause where use to live they didnt believe in it.well ive been told i have to wait 6 weeks or more for the statement.what do i do in the mean time.i want my son to go to the special school,but i have to wait for the statement.so i rang up these mainstreem schools last week.and they all refused him i couldnt believe it.please someone help
