And Eustacia Cutler (Temple's mom) is one of the strongest, most down to earth, wisest and funniest women you could ever hope to meet.  I strongly recommend going to her lecture and hearing her side of the story.  Temple is amazing and insperational. I have seen some interviews and
articles, but haven't read this book yet.

I highly reccomend anything by Wendy Lawson, she is amazing, so is her life
story and so is her poetry.

I was lucky enough to see her speak soon after Sharlets dx, and I'm so glad I
did. It's a classic.  You can see videos from time to time featuring Temple.  She and he mother are also on the autism lecture circuit.  It's interesting to actually SEE her because it's clear she's still classically autistic.  Just the most high functioning autistic individual around.Bren, Thinking in Pictures was written by Temple Grandin.  Is there another book you're thinking of?

I stand corrected, by mistake I typed the person name who wrote an article about her.

I corrected the error thanks for telling me

"Thinking In Pictures" by Temple Grandin

This book is about a women with Autism and how she gets through each day of her life.  She is very successful and tells you what it's like to have Autism and how she lives with this disorder.

She is so inspiring to me and gives me such hope for my son who is 3.5 and has Autism.

It's wonderful and I hope if you read it you will enjoy it.  I highly recommend it.
