Thanks for your help. I am looking for a social story to facilitate transitioning from one activity to another.  She is in kindergarten and has a tantrums when asked to stop her activity and start another.  She doesn't want to stop.  She wants to finish and becomes very upset when she needs to begin a new activity.   This could be any change. thanks again for any help you can give.

Here's my huge collection of links to sample social stories.  I'm sure you'll find a good story to inspire you, but social stories must of course be tailor-made to fit the person and the situation.

A social story is most likely to help if the problem is not understanding what's expected.  Other problems require other solutions, for example an activity plan so she can see what's going to happen throughout the day, a 5 minute warning, rewards for cooperating, etc.

Good luck.
