I don't know if it's just coincidence or not, but we started supplementing with vitamin D and C about 2 months ago (to start building up immunity since we're not doing the flu shot). Since then, Justin speech has taken off. He seems to be coming out with new stuff everyday. Very exciting!

That's great! We just started a few weeks ago for the same reason, and while I haven't seen a huge verbal gain, we are hearing a lot more casual speech.  DS is very verbal, but it usually sounds really stilted and formal.  Now, his four latest favorite phrases are gimme that, move over, hey stop that, and come get a hug!

Incidentally, I finally convinced my doc to check my D level a couple of weeks ago, and it came back at 19.  No wonder I stay sick all the time!  I'm taking prescription 50,000iu 3x/wk for a month, then supplementing at least 2,000/say on my own.  Hopefully, I won't stay sick all winter this year, and I'm already sleeping better.
