Hi folks,

So, I have been asked to post about this by the powers that be.

Many of us have pictures in our signatures or post pictures.  Most of those are pictures of our kids.

Cool.  We love to see it.  Thank you for sharing and we are glad you feel comfortable enough to do so.

Problem is...some of them are TOO BIG!

Many people have slower computers, smaller monitors, low bandwidth etc...  Also, it takes a whole lot for those with slower connections to get the page to load.

Management has asked that I make an announcement.  It seems that the powers who set this board up did not enable uploading pics, but would like to see a size restriction placed on the pics that are hotlinked (which is what you are doing when you use photobucket or a similar service).

We need to have you set the size of your pictures so that they fit on a screen that is set at 1024 x 768 without having to scroll left or right...they just take up too much room!  I am sure that you understand.

For those of you that don't understand how to resize your pictures you can download a great, free little program called PIXresizer here: http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

I will amend this post soon to see if I can come up with the proper dimensions for you, but play around with the program or any other picture sizing program you have and let's see if we can't make it work.

Much love.
